What is SEAFEX?
SEAFEX is the professional seafood event for the MENA region. The event welcomes international traders, wholesalers, importers, retailers and Foodservice professionals to connect with international suppliers of seafood over 3 days. SEAFEX trades under three distinct sectors covering seafood, value-added products and condiments and tools.
 

When and where does SEAFEX take place?
SEAFEX is an annual event, with the 7th edition taking place on 30 October to 1 November 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

What are the show timing?

30 & 31 October -  10am to 6pm

1 November - 10am to 4pm

Does SEAFEX offer any opportunities for learning?
Yes, in partnership with a major culinary Association, SEAFEX is planning the MENA edition of the Future of Seafood Workshop exploring product innovation, sustainable farming, consumer trends and the pros and cons of wild seafood vs. aquaculture. With interactive cooking and serving demonstrations onsite, visitors can also stay at the cutting edge of seafood preparation for the year ahead. SEAFEX Features are developing on an annual basis, please contact SEAFEX@dwtc.com for details of what’s new for 2019.

Who are the visitors?
15,000 F&B Buyers from more than 100 countries make their journey to SEAFEX every year. The event serves some of the biggest brands in the region including Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose, Jumeirah Group, Starwood Hotels, Hilton Hotel Group, Emirates Flight Catering and Dubai Duty Free, to name a few.

How much does it cost to visit SEAFEX 2018?
SEAFEX is free to attend. Visitors who register online at speciality.ae will also receive fast track entry to the event.


Is my visitor badge valid for all 3 days of the show?
Yes, your visitor badge admits you to SEAFEX 2018 for all 3 days of the show.

Do I need a visa to travel to Dubai for SEAFEX 2018?

What are the other events in the Gulfood portfolio?

On 30 October -1 November 2018, SEAFEX will take place alongside The Speciality Food Festival  showcasing gourmet & artisan food products, yummex Middle East showcasing confectionery and snacks and GulfHost showcasing Foodservice equipment. On 6-8 November 2018 Gulfood Manufacturing will showcase all the latest ingredients, processing, packaging and logistical F&B solutions at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
